SMLC Providing Service To The Community

We have couple community service events that our Santa Maria Learning Center students did this week that are worth bragging about.
On Thursday, students brought reusable bowls and ate rice/beans for lunch. They were invited to make donations to the SB County Food Bank equal to the typical cost of their packed lunch. We raised $170!
Today, a few students and families worked together to pick up trash at Buena Vista Park in Santa Maria.
